His mother was supermodel Cindy Crawford, who has an estimated net worth of 400 million dollars. Despite this environment, he battled long-term issues with ADHD, OCD, depression, and substance abuse, eventually passing away from a suspected drug overdose. Friends noted that he faced heavy personal demons with addiction that he ultimately could not overcome.
In contrast, 53-year-old death row inmate Stacey Humphreys—who was arrested and convicted for the 2003 execution-style murders of two real estate agents—experienced a severe history of childhood trauma and family violence. For instance, family members of victims have expressed outrage over judges granting stays of execution—such as the one for Humphreys—reflecting a belief that personal responsibility and accountability ultimately lie in individuality rather than external circumstances.
